Here You go!
/The weekend was all about crayfish! As you know my love comes from Argentina and I thought he had to experience a traditional crayfish party in all its form! I’m a person that really eats all the crayfish’s meat! Had to teach him exactly how he should eat it. It was an amazing to see him crack the claws and scale the shrimps! It went pretty well 🙂 I think I ate 20 pieces while he in the same time ate 7 of them but he will learn with time;)I Don’t know how many I ate! 🙂 This became a successful evening and I’m sure that he will not be able to wait until next´s year crayfish party!
Among all the things on the table, there was one thing that was particularly appreciated. The famous Dill-(a swedish herb) and Västerbotten cheese bread! So, if you want to impress your guests on a crawfish party, you must make this bread! Do you want the recipe? Here you go!
Recipe:
Ingredients
2 loaves or 15 small bread
50 grams of yeast
6 cups of water (room temperature)
14 cups of flour
2 tsp salt
2 pots Dill
2 cups grated Västerbotten cheese
What to do
1 Chop the dill and grate the Västerbotten.
2 Crumble the yeast into a bowl. Pour in water and stir until the yeast dissolves.
3 Stir quickly the flour and the salt, add evenly the dill and Västerbotten. The dough will be quite loose.
4 Let it rise under a plastic foil or a towel for an hour.
5 Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Lubricate the bread molds and divide the dough into the molds without destroying its bubbles, the dough should not be baked out!
6 Bake for 15 minutes at 250 degrees, then lower to 225 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes. For smaller breads, preheat the oven to 250 degrees, later reduce it to 225 and place the dough in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes.
